The term Clearer board (or Escape board) refers to a device that helps remove the bees from the honey super.

• A clearer board (also called an escape board) is a one-way device placed between the honey super and the brood chamber.
• It allows bees to move down into the brood chamber but prevents them from returning to the honey supers.
• Typically used 24–48 hours before harvesting honey, giving time for most of the bees to leave the honey super.
